Design of the main prayer hall in the school
Atam Academy Romford RM6 4XX
Atam Academy is a free school set up in 2016.
Together with the governors and project manger we designed the layout to resemble the Golden Temple in Punjab with the centre of the temple housing the Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh Religion's holy book).
The new hall had higer storey above the entrance where the Guru Granth Sahib was stored over night.
